A gentle movement and connection class for parents and carers with their little ones.
Carers & Cubs offers a relaxed and welcoming space to move, connect and spend time with other parents and carers in the community. Sessions will include gentle stretching, mobility, playful movement and accessible circus-inspired activities.
There’s no pressure to keep up or participate in everything. Feeding, changing, settling and taking breaks are all part of the class.
After each session, we’ll share morning tea and a cuppa, creating time to slow down, chat and connect with other carers.
No previous movement or circus experience is needed. Just come as you are, with your little cub.

You can book us for gigs, workshops or hire our space at the Stores Studio, Brisbane Powerhouse.
Vulcana’s circus workshop and performance projects engage a broad range of community participants and work in partnership with arts and community organisations to create opportunities for cultural expression and community development. In a safe, playful space we encourage participants to be themselves with joy and push the boundaries of what is achievable as one or in a group.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
- A transfer can be requested anytime before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 2 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$20.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
