Exploring drama, movement and comedy – young people are invited to dive into the world of the

clown.

Come along and learn an introduction to clowning with Laura Trenerry. We will play lots of

games and exercises, get moving, perform for each other, express our silly selves and have a

good laugh!

Laura Trenerry is a performer, theatre maker and teacher based in Naarm. She is one-third of

award-winning comedy trio The Travelling Sisters, one half of The Beryls comedy duo and

ensemble member of Stickybeak (Best Comedy, Melbourne Fringe 2024). She is a clown,

character comedian and theatre obsessed independent artist who has been creating, producing

and performing her own work for 13 years. She is a passionate teaching artist and regularly

teaches clown and theatre workshops for young people and adults. She is a Clowning &

Physical Comedy trainer at Women’s Circus Melbourne and works as a clown in aged care

settings for The Humour Foundation.
