Over 5 days with Malia to explore ways to create small new works, using play and creativity,
how to experiment with your skills and ideas and how to draw inspiration from interactions
with others. You will:
- be in a safe place to explore even the wildest of ideas.
- discover ways to develop tiny ideas into big performances.
- play creative exercises and games
- get positive feedback and care with a budding act.

The awesome powerhouse that is performer, director & producer, Malia Walsh, has over 15
years’ experience creating and touring physical theatre, circus and children’s entertainment.
Malia is well known for an unusual take on circus tricks focusing primarily on comedy and
physical theatre. Her body of work includes Circus Trick Tease, Werk It, Brass Monkeys,
‘Straya, Can’t Face and Children are Stinky.
Her productions have toured nationally and internationally for 15 years winning her company
Circus Trick Tease 12 awards and rave reviews globally. She has directed and collaborated
with companies including, Head First Acrobatics, Circus Oz, Uber Lingua, Stunned Mullet
and Smashed.

In a safe, playful space we encourage participants to be themselves with joy and push the boundaries of what is achievable as one or in a group.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
- A transfer can be requested anytime before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 2 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$20.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
