Come and join our creative 1 day holiday circus workshop! This is open to all young people who want to come and give circus a go. Whether your teen is brand new at circus, or just wanting to keep up circus in the holiday break, this workshop is for everyone. A mixture of ground and aerial circus skills , it's sure to be the funnest part of their holiday break!

At Vulcana  we run stimulating and playful circus classes for young people who love to explore what their bodies can do in a non-competitive, fun way.

All of our classes build core strength, confidence and coordination. We value the creativity, individuality and imagination of each student and allow all participants to explore and grow at their own level and pace.

Here at Vulcana Women’s Circus, we run workshops for adults and kids and teens, and we develop community projects with all kinds of different communities, the focus always being on creativity and empowerment through circus. You can book us for gigs, workshops or hire our space at the Stores Studio, Brisbane Powerhouse.

Vulcana’s circus workshop and performance projects engage a broad range of community participants and work in partnership with arts and community organisations to create opportunities for cultural expression and community development. In a safe, playful space we encourage participants to be themselves with joy and push the boundaries of what is achievable as one or in a group.

Vulcana has a super professional and friendly vibe. There instructors are engaging and knowledgeable. I took my daughter to a children's holiday workshop and she had a great time playing warm up games, trying new activities and learning new skills. She does do gymnastics already so has some core skills that transfer to circus skills. She very much enjoyed the trapeze and aerial work and I have booked her in for an aerial specific workshop next week too!

Cancellations & Refunds

If the organiser cancels the class:

You are entitled to a full refund.

If you can't attend the class:

  • A transfer can be requested anytime before the class starts. Free of charge.
  • A credit note can be requested 2 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$20.00 applies.

No changes will be allowed after these times.

We recommend the refund upgrade option upon checkout in case you’re not able to attend the class. Learn more about refund upgrade option.
