Can't choose an aerial apparatus? Want to try a few? This class is for you. Learn a mix of Tissu (aerial Silks), Lyra (aerial hoop), Teardrop and more.

We recommend doing a term of Circus Essentials, Circus Fit or Flying Start Aerials first to build your strength and body awareness before attending this class. If you already have circus experience or similar please contact the office to check if you can start with this class before doing a prep class.


This Class will be taught by Regan Henry.

Payment is taken 50% at time of booking and 50% 2 weeks after class begins. You can choose to pay the amount in full at checkout if you prefer. 


Note: As of Term 4 2020, all students receive automatic Vulcana Bronze membership. This does not come at any cost to you, but means you have voting rights at AGM time.  You can opt out of this at any time by emailing development@vulcana.org.au

Here at Vulcana Women’s Circus, we run workshops for adults and kids and teens, and we develop community projects with all kinds of different communities, the focus always being on creativity and empowerment through circus. You can book us for gigs, workshops or hire our space at the Stores Studio, Brisbane Powerhouse.

Vulcana’s circus workshop and performance projects engage a broad range of community participants and work in partnership with arts and community organisations to create opportunities for cultural expression and community development. In a safe, playful space we encourage participants to be themselves with joy and push the boundaries of what is achievable as one or in a group.

My instructor Reagan did an amazing job at explaining things very clearly, especially in something as complicated as tissu. I got a good feel of trapeze, tissu and teardrop in the course of the 5 week term. The warm ups we did in the beginning of every class were unlike any warm ups I had done before, they were unique and fun! It really had me pumped and excited to continue the rest of the class. It was also fun to tap into our creativity every time we ended the session with some freestyle on our apparatus to a selected song.

Cancellations & Refunds

If the organiser cancels the class:

You are entitled to a full refund.

If you can't attend the class:

  • A transfer can be requested anytime before the class starts. Free of charge.
  • A credit note can be requested 2 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$20.00 applies.

No changes will be allowed after these times.
