For the common person: no dance experience necessary. No fitness level required.

Common People is a non-pretentious class for anyone who wants to learn big fun group dance choreography in a non-judgemental environment. Past events and classes have included whole families (grandparents through to babies in carriers), pregnant ladies, seniors, men coming straight from work in their suits who have never danced, foreign exchange students, security guards (one with a dog), children, people with injuries, ex- professional dancers, circus performers. Really this is for anyone who just wants to dance in a group where they don’t feel self-conscious.

This is a special three week series with Neridah Waters (The Brides of Frank, Lala Parlour, and The Escapists) that will include popular dance choreography, as well as an introduction to the choreography that will be used for ‘One Billion Rising’ a flashmob against domestic violence that everyone is invited to participate in.

Please note:

This course is for Women, Trans and Non Binary people only.
